Recruiting New Staff Members
All CRESST II institutions are subject to equal opportunity in hiring standards and, as such, offers are generally made after a full and open recruitment and selection process. The GSFC sponsor is invited to be part of the hiring committee, which will identify shortlisted candidates that are recommended to the CRESST II partner hiring authority. Otherwise, sponsors will be consulted fully at each step of the recruitment and selection process. This process normally takes from 2 to 4 months.
In certain cases, where extremely well-qualified candidates are already known, CRESST II will hire individuals without advertising provided adequate justification can be provided.
