First light image produced by a Phase Fresnel Lens (PFL)
First light image produced by a Phase Fresnel Lens (PFL), with a 112 m focal length, placed 450 m in front of an X-ray CCD camera. The imaged object was a microfocused X-ray source located 150 m from the PFL and emitting 8 keV copper-Kα radiation. The resulting angular resolution in this image is 20 milli-arcsec
